2023 - 2024 ROBOTICS FLYER
Robotics Club Slideshow Presentation
The Briarcliff Robotics Club uses the VEX IQ Robotics Program to give students a chance to build & program a robot to accomplish a given challenge that changes every year. Students work in teams of between three to four members & compete in several competition events hosted at various NJ schools. Each event is independent of the others & offers the opportunity to qualify for the State Championship. The season begins in the fall & continues through at least January, longer if teams qualify for the State/World Championships. There are three components of each competition: Driver (remote controlled), Autonomous (programming controlled), & Team Challenge (remote controlled via random pairings with other teams to cooperatively attempt the challenge). Students keep an engineering journal of the important design choices made during the process.
