Newsletter / Newspaper

The Briarcliff Bugle is an extracurricular club that provides an opportunity for students to develop their speaking, listening, and writing skills in a setting that simulates the work of a news reporter. Students will interview people in a range of different circumstances in order to seek out and investigate stories for a quarterly publication. Club members are encouraged to attend a variety of school functions, such as student government meetings, sporting events, and musical performances. They will work closely with the news team, photographers, and editors to produce concise and accurate copy. Opportunities exist to write short fillers as well as longer feature articles. All ability levels are welcome.
