Summer Reading

2020 Summer Reading - TBA

For this year’s Book Fair our vendor is Scholastic.  Due to the terms of this Fair, they do not customize titles available at the book fair and are limited in providing titles that I suggest for summer reading.
My lists are based on well-reviewed titles from various publishers.  Scholastic provides titles from their imprints.  All Mandatory Titles will be available.

As a result, this Summer Reading List covers all grades and are “recommended” suggestions. Please note that I have provided Lexile Scores, Genre, and marked some titles for “Mature Readers”.                                                                             Thank you for your support, Mr. Posner

All grade levels are assigned a required book to read as well as completing the given assignment - see below.

In addition
, you are encouraged to read at least 2 more books of your choice.  This is for a total of 3 books.  Parents are encouraged to review, discuss and decide with their child what titles would be best.

This brilliant and heartbreaking novel tells the story of a prestigious family living on a private island off the coast of Massachusetts. Full of love, lies, secrets, no shortage of family dysfunction, and a shocking twist that you won’t see coming.
