Briarcliff offers four interscholastic sports for boys and girls: Cross-Country & Soccer in the fall, Basketball during the fall/winter, and Baseball & Softball in the spring.
All students considering participating in a school athletic program are required by the NJSIAA (New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association) to complete the Annual Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Examination form. These forms can be picked up at the Briarcliff Office or downloaded below.
Part A, The Health History Questionnaire, needs to be filled out by a parent or guardian. Part B, The Physical Examination, needs to be administered and filled out by the students physician or the school physician.
The school physician is called upon to administer physical examinations several times through out the school year. Each student participating in a school sport needs a current health physical each year.
In accordance with the state (NJSIAA) regulations, any participating player in an additional sport (after the initial annual pre-participation physical examination form has been completed) is responsible for completion of the Medical History Update form, available at the Nurses office or through the link below.
