Cross Country
The Boys and Girls Cross Country Team had many great runs at yesterday’s Morris County Grade Races. We are excited for all of our runners who participated in the meet as they should be proud of their growth and accomplishments at this meet with over 800 runners. A special shout out goes to Jason Mei who earned a third place position out of 152 seventh grade boys, WOW!
Our final championship meet will be next Thursday, October 24th, where our top five runners from each team will participate. We wish them another great afternoon.
Congratulations to all of our runners, it was great watching them give all of their best!

We encourage all students to bring in their empty candy wrappers and drop them off in designated blue recyclable bins near the main entrance. We will be collecting all the wrappers on 11/19. Exciting News from the MathCounts Competition! We are thrilled to announce that our MathCounts Club students did an outstanding job at this weekend’s competition! Their hard work, dedication, and math skills truly shined. A special congratulations to Jason Mei, who earned the title of Top in School for his exceptional performance. Briarcliff ranked 7th overall!
MathCounts Club is now over and will resume in the Autumn. Email Michelle Major with questions. Thank you!
MathCounts Club is where students join together to work on challenging math problems they may not typically see in the classroom. They work independently or in small groups moving at the pace that is comfortable for them. These problems help students prepare for the various school math competitions offered throughout the school year (AMC8, NJ Math League, & Math Olympiads). High scoring students will be recognized by both Briarcliff & the competition organizations!

All teams submit their case by January 31 for careful review & judgement by the NJ Bar Foundation. When winning cases are selected, the teams who wrote them will be required to "perform" their case at Law Adventure Programs in May.
